The ACS‑IO is an I/O starter kit that requires the AC Nio management software to function. The kit includes one I/O master controller, one AC‑IOE expander board, and one AC‑C enclosure.
It controls up to eight relays and eight inputs, which can be expanded to 64 inputs and outputs by adding up to seven AC‑IOE expander boards. A second AC‑C enclosure is required if more than three AC‑IOEs are added.
The ACS‑IO can support up to 16 unmanaged doors without a reader, which can be controlled by door contact, REX, and motion. These actions can be scheduled and assigned to all inputs and outputs.
The AC‑C enclosure has room for the required AC‑PS1267 power supply and up to four expander boards. Standoffs are included to mount the boards and there are nine conduit knockouts on the sides and back of the enclosure.
