Description
The EVAX 100M provides a Mass Notification System with maximum flexibility to meet the needs of any application.
The 100M can operate as a Standalone system or tie into a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), where Fire and MNS is required.
Separate output control make dual strobe control simple, while optional cards make zone, message, input and output control easily to configure. The USB input allows for uploading custom messages/tones and configuration files to meet any requirement.
LOCs enable sustem to have up to 30 remote control locations. Any function in the system is available at both the Primary, ACU or the LCU locations.
Engineering Specifications
The Mass Notification System shall be Evax Systems Series EVAX 100M or approved equal. The Mass Notification System shall provide 100 watts signal power and 100 watts voice power, and shall be Listed to UL864 and UL2572. All speaker circuits shall be field selectable for 25 or 70 Vrms operation and shall be power limited.
The Mass Notification System shall be micro-processor based, and shall contain an integral microphone, 100 Watt audio amplifier, tone generator, digital message repeater, 120VAC power supply and battery charger. The Evac/MNS message/signal shall be broadcast continually until reset manually or by a FACP Silence/Reset. An option for a 10 minute timeout must be provided. Emergency personnel may interrupt the broadcast with a manual page. On reset, System shall automatically return to standby (normal operating) condition.
System must have capacity for a minimum of 16 messages. Messages may be activated by either manual control or by automatic input from either the FACP or from any normally open contact device.
Remote paging microphone(s) will be supported by the System and be capable of Switch control Page Zones, Messages or Control points. Remote microphone(s) may be mounted up to 3000 feet from the System and be fully supervised. System must be capable of supporting up to 30 Remote Microphones.
